MY SISTER
(TO WISDOM)
HE Begot Her when HE began HIS Work
Long before HE Made anything else
She was Created in the very beginning; even before the world began
Born before there were oceans and seas; mountains and trees
When I was born, I did not know Her
Even though She is better than gold
When I was a child of 8, I found Her
And in Her I have found new Life, new Love, and Treasures untold
She called out to me like someone shouting
Her voice soft and sweet and raised with Understanding
And showed me Great Things; Remarkable Things
With magnitude stretching beyond earth and sky and sea
She lives in the place where there’s no strife
No Pride ~ No Arrogance ~ No Misunderstanding
Because, first She is Pure; then Peace-Loving
Considerate ~ Patient ~ Full of Mercy & Good Fruit
She is always there when I need Sound Advice
And keeps me Impartial and Sincere in Truth
Everything She says is Important
Everything She does is full of Virtue and Regard
In Her I find Stability; I am always sure
When She is with me, I am never disgraced
The first lesson she gifted me for all my years
Humbly instructs Submission, Fear and Honor to YAHWEH
All other lessons take shape within this veracity
They build on this Foundation of Reverence and Noble Guidelines
Where She goes there is Power; She wields it at HIS Will
Then couples it with Understanding; yeilding Soundness of Mind
She is a Truthful Witness; No lies are found in Her
Always careful; never naive, or carelessly quick to act
She saves the lives of many; including my very own
By reminding me, that attentively is always the way to go
By Her, kings reign and princes issue decrees that are Just
Rulers rule because of Her, and nobles can Judge Fairly
Riches and Honor are Hers to give
So are lasting Wealth and Perpetual Success
Those who follow Her are Happy
And they that listen to Her are Wise
She is most Magnificent; Delightful to be around
I have found Life in Her and I will never let Her go
Everyday, She watches for me at Her door
And I return dependably; eagerly seeking Her heart for more
I say to Her, “You are my sister, My bosom friend” ~ Irrefutably, She is!
Undoubtedly, She loves me and I love Her……..
She and I are eternally tied; Bound together for Life
A Companionship for me, of Epic Spiritual Cultivation and Growth
Her name is Wisdom CHOKMAH
She is Older than Time & Better than Wine
